I thought this was priceless! Bennett was a little irritated that we were entertaining him with balloons but he couldn't reach them. So, he decided to show his temper a little bit:)
Bennett is officially crawling (he can crawl on his knees and is doing more of that lately, but still prefers the combat crawl) all over the place. He is pulling up and beginning to cruise. He is babbling up a storm and has the "ba, ba" "da, da" "ma, ma" and "na, na" sounds mastered. He "talks" a lot which is very entertaining because we can have mini "conversations" with him as he will echo noises we make.
Bennett is now 27 inches (10th percentile) and weighs a mighty 15lbs, 7oz. There is no percentile for that.......he fell off the chart. Although he is developmentally right on target the doctor would like to see more of an upward trend so she prescribed medicine for the reflux he has had since birth. So, we will see if controlling that aids in some weight gain. As a mother I have a strong sense of guilt that my child is so small, but logically I know that a) he does not have genetics on his side and b) the kid eats like a horse! We'll keep you posted on this:) If anyone has any words of wisdom about this, feel free to share:)
Bennett's favorites are:
1. Mommy
2. Arthur (our cat)
3. Kicking his high-chair
4. His Blanky
5. His thumb
6. Fruit
7. Bath time
8. Daddy tickles
9. Pretending to drink out of my cup
10. "talking"
