Cleaning Up His Mess

Bennett was eating at the island and made a terrible mess of crumbs all over the floor. I thought I would teach him a simple lesson with a negative consequence like cleaning up the mess he made.


Silly me, I forgot that this kid loves to clean! When I told him to get the vacuum so he could clean up all of the crumbs, he quickly replied in a very chipper voice, "ok Mommy, I can do that!"


Not all was lost I suppose. After all, he still learned that he needs to clean up his messes, it was just an added bonus that he had fun doing it!
