My Little Helper

Bennett is always quite the helper. He always wants to be involved in whatever it is Bryan or I are doing. Boy does not discriminate either. He enjoys historically "female" duties such as vacuuming, laundry, grocery shopping, and washing dishes as well as those classic "male" duties like mowing, getting the oil changed, and "fixing" and building things, which his Daddy is very good at.

Some might argue that cleaning the car is a male duty (this is in no way a dig towards my husband but simply a weird societal rule. Have you ever done the math at those car washes where you can also vacuum your car etc.? Mostly men people!) but this Mom does not discriminate either. I was cleaning the inside of my car, washing carseat covers etc. and my sweet boy wanted to help his Mommy. God love him, I hope the trend continues! So, I gave him the job of cleaning the wheels. He did a fantastic job.

On a side note.....the day before this, we took the kids through an automatic car wash upon Bennett's request after noticing one a couple of weeks ago. He had never been through one as Daddy always uses the do-it-yourself ones. The kid thought it was the best thing since Eggo blueberry waffles (he eats them every. single. day for breakfast)! Seriously, highlight of his Spring break for sure! So cute to watch him smile and listen to him comment on all the gadgets as we went through it. In his words, " that was pretty cool, Mommy!"
